DUTIES and
Responsibilities:
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
o Evaluates and provides a variety of psychological services to individuals and groups, including specialized assessments and interventions. o Works with the Comprehensive Adult Transition Home Treatment Teams to provide crises services to individuals, which includes training and guidance to Team Members. o Interviews individuals and obtains and records personal data and information. o Conducts psychological evaluations; selects, administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests; and diagnoses a variety of psychological disorders. o Develops, implements, monitors, and revises treatment plans, interventions, and programs, which may include behavioral support and skills training. o Maintains records and documentation consistent with regulatory requirements. o May conduct and/or supervise forensic or other court-ordered psychological evaluations and assessments; and provide expert testimony in court or administrative proceedings. o Provides clinical leadership, program management, and training in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders. o Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff, interns, and students; assigns individual and group psychological treatment and care activities; and may approve leave, track time and attendance, and complete performance evaluations. o Participates in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical assessments and programming. o Monitors and coordinates psychological services and activities; and reviews individual records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. o Additional tasks/duties/projects as assigned.

Salary Range:
From $134137 to $134137 Annually
Minimum Qualification
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for this title; OR candidates must have one year of permanent service as a Licensed Psychologist and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. In addition, candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State. For Temporary Appointment:
o Promotional opportunity candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State AND have had one year of permanent competitive service as an Associate Psychologist or Psychologist 2. o Open-Competitive opportunity candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State. Licensed Psychologist is a continuous recruitment examination. Candidates who are not currently on the eligible list may apply for this position and if appointed, will receive a temporary appointment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
